A stream of conscience list of topics and themes found in things I’ve written, am writing, or will write:

Loss, regret, death, trust, unmet expectations, the past, the class system, inadequacy, arrogance, self-doubt, self-loathing, anger, cynicism, pessimism, optimism, apathy, emasculation, control (and subsequent loss of), psychosis and other fun mental ailments, suicide, the erosion of polite society and culture, corporate America, philosophy and the nature of things beyond our comprehension, greed, idealism, the passage of time, potential, parent/child relationships.

A stream of conscience list of topics and themes overused by authors under the age of 40:

    Hell yeah there is a difference! None of those stories have been written via your perspective. Don’t limit yourself to categories because in doing so you won’t find anything that hasn’t been done before.

    Categorization = Generalization = Generic
