Write Before Thinking

Alignment issues.

Yesterday I went to a conference on values and ethics in Corporate America and one of the exercises we did was to identify our three core values. The theory is that once identified, one must align their core values with their daily lives. If that sounds obvious, it’s because it should be. The speaker maintained that if our values were not in sync with our careers we would ultimately be unhappy and unsuccessful. Again, pretty obvious.

So why do so few of us hold ourselves to that standard?

I have a podcast called The Ethics Project, hosted by Hofstra University. I was wondering if there was a personal story you have about needing to make an ethical decision that you would like to record for this.
